Did you know that each of us as believers is a fingerprint of God? Everything we say or do, our actions, comments, and thoughts all reflect our relationship with God.
How do we see the works of God in our everyday lives? God is a worker, a creator. He created this world and He tasked us with cultivating this in our everyday lives. We imagine Him when we work and lead productive lives.
We call people to him by faithfully living out our daily routines, by just doing ordinary work to glorify God. A simple smile, a small donation to someone in need, helping the elderly, or teaching the disabled, are benchmarks for the believer.
The phrase "God's fingerprint" has multiple meanings for the Believer.
1) A mark of God's presence. We believe that God's fingerprints are everywhere in our lives and that we can find them in the things that lift our spirits, offer us clarity, or help us overcome obstacles.
2) A reminder of our connection to God. Some believe that the ridges and valleys of our fingertips are a direct imprint of a higher power and that our fingerprints are recorded in God's heart.
3) A symbol of God's Power. The phrase "finger of God" is used to symbolize God's power and might, and is often interpreted as a sign of divine intervention.
4) A reference to Christ's healing power. In the New Testament, the phrase "finger of God" is used metaphorically to refer to Christ's healing power.
5) A unique identity. The gospels say that Jesus' identity was revealed in his fingerprints.
These are just a few of the tenets that motivate us to stand strong in faith, trust in His word, and teach His works. We have learned that a true relationship with God is complete spiritual fulfillment. It helps us manage our lives, rejuvenate our faith, and navigate through our darker days. We know that whatever the finger of God touches will be made new, stronger, resilient, and everlasting. So I ask you today, no matter the circumstances you find, look for the finger of God in all that you see, hear, and experience. It is a journey well spent, ending with everlasting life. Many blessings Believers...
