It's almost a new year, Believers! It's 2022! You're expecting words of encouragement and a new untapped internal willpower to pursue and conquer all of your New Year's resolutions, right? Guess what? No need. I know you've got this! I'm a Believer in constant prayer. I imagine the Lord grows weary of all my questions, analytics, and urgent rescue mission requests I send up on a daily basis! My prayers are always to be better, to improve all the skills I encompass that permit me to be a light for someone's dark path. To serve humanity, pillar my community, embrace my family, and revere the God I serve. These I strive for every day. My daily resolutions. And like many New Year's resolutions, at times I fail, I stumble, but still I pray, brush myself off and keep moving!
Rather than make a new resolution I encourage you to keep on moving at your own speed toward your own destiny using your own light. If you've walked with me through my many journaled experiences here and pre-Sunday Believers (I use to send SBs via SMS), you've learned my three Ps- Prayer, persistence, and perseverance are a blessing, and quitting isn't an option. There is no "Tap Out" for a Believer! We've already learned about the peaks and valleys we've conquered through good works and prayer. We know that no matter what path our dreams lay, we know God isn't checking our bank account, He's checking our faith! So rather than wish you good luck on new year's resos, I want to encourage you to stay the course, always pray, be persistent and persevere. If you've put the Lord first, your direction is clear, your path has been paved, and wherever He may take you, go with grace. You've got this blessed rhythm going, keep up the speed! Happy New Year!
Romans 2:7
To those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life;
1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
