As we continue on with social distancing and sometimes unbearable restrictions, political strife and racial tension I have to ask...how are you holding up?
As for me, I find my emotions ranging from anger to compassion, confusion and often to slight depression. I sometimes wonder how and if I can go on.
I can't imagine what the believers with children, elderly parents etc. are going through. Its enough to make one lose one's mind. We are experiencing a time many of us have never faced before. We are living through days that will be written in history books.
Today I thought of "spiritual hope". For Believers this means hope that relies on faith. Faith that what we cannot see, what we cannot touch or rely on through our human senses will be granted, given or attained from God. Our faith strengthens our relationship with God, which fortifies our hope.
I want to remind you to never let the present days allow pride to replace your humility, anger to replace your compassion and most important, fear to replace your faith. Believers we must not become so overwhelmed that we give up our faith in God. Faith keeps hope alive. Stay safe and stay healthy.
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
1 Corinthians 2:5
That your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God..
