It’s the last Sunday of August. For some of us we're glad to see the blistering heat of summer slowly come to an end. Along with its heat, I know each Believer must pray that the strife, anger, and division end… not to mention the prayers going out to eradicate or end COVID-19. We are in constant prayer mode! Stand firm Believers, it looks distant, but help is on the way!

Today it may seem impossible to imagine, but have you envisioned your family, your business or profession, or even your faith years from now? What do you see on the horizon for yourself? Are you standing in faith? Are you creating a positive change in your home and community? Where do you see yourself in your family’s history decades from now? For myself, I've learned that all the plans I've implemented can change overnight. So I've learned to prepare and plan differently. I've learned that many diverse people are against the systemic racism that seems to be plaguing our country. I'm amazed as I watch people from all over the world join in protest against the senseless violence and oppression a select few would like to all to embrace in the United States. I've even learned about the systemic racism that still exist in countries like India. If you’re paying attention, this Coronavirus has taught us a lot more than we ever knew existed in life. I’m learning more about you, as you’re learning about me…look what it took to get us there.

Because as with everything, the current circumstances, situations, crises, and political strife too shall all pass. Remember the thoughts and actions you take must always include a higher power. I call that power God.

Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the Lord's hand double for all her sins. A voice cries: “In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain. And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” ...
