The Three Ms...

As we begin the new year with many resolutions I have to ask...how are you holding up?

As for me, I've had to make changes, rearrange some things and push forward. Some days are better than others, some days I wish I had stayed in bed! You've been there? Yes, we all have. For me, I've always tried to live by the word of God, and what I call the "three M's". Much like the Fortune 500 corporation, my 3 M's represent my mantra for any and all decisions I have to make. There are three things that effect your choices, goals and plans. The 3 M's include; Mouth, Motive and Moves.

Did you know what you say (Mouth) reflects who you really are in substance and belief. When you speak do those around you perceive you as a gossiper, a troublemaker, someone who never keeps their word? Does every word that you speak require questions and creates distrust from those who know you? Or do the people you know and encounter rest with assurance knowing they've spoken with someone they can count on? Is your word your bond?

Your reasons (Motive) indicates the real reason for the final M. No matter what excuses you give others or yourself, you and God know your true motives. And in His grand design God has planned for our lives, your motive effects your karma. So whatever intrinsic motive you have, remember God has assured it does come back around. Good or bad.

And finally our progress (Moves) determine our outcome. When we construct and rely on a  negative agenda, then don't the worst things seem to fall our way? But continue to make positive moves suddenly the perfect day happens or the best outcome eventually occurs. When we wish only the best for others, pray for that positive outcome, then the best comes back to us. Amen

I want to encourage you today to concentrate on your "Three M's". Be cognizant of your Mouth, your Motives, and your Moves. Not only are friends and family depending upon you, but as always God is watching....

Philippians 4:8

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
