It's been a busy time for all of us, I can certainly attest to that! In between all the things we have to address or accomplish in a day, we by spiritual nature always remember to slip in those "little" prayers we hope the Lord will one day hear! At one time that now small prayer was a major concern and the imperative component to keeping the faith! Heavy prayers with a heavy heart, waiting for your specific blessing. You eventually believed the Lord said no, it would never come around, and then one new minute in your life it happens!
Whether it's that new home, better job, devoted companion, good health, whatever our prayer may be, we're constantly repeating the prayer in our minds, just below a whisper on our lips, and forever in our hearts. But when the blessing happens outside of our expectation or timeframe, we assume it's just a coincidence. We assume God forgot that plea. But He didn't. He never does. Sometimes the Lord must wait until we're ready to receive the blessing. There are those of us who believe the desire of the heart means that he or she is immediately prepared for that prayer. But God knows different. And sometimes presents a challenge to test our conviction. Most times we fail, but the day we push through, and permit His will that’s the day when blessings come.
Prepare yourself for your blessing, and remember it comes when God not only can hear but see your conviction. Its hard, difficult, tempting and sometimes frustrating when we impeded our own blessings, so approach the Lord with an open heart and complete faith. Soon your blessings will follow.
Give Him some time today, He's so worthy...Many blessings.
Ephesians 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,
Jeremiah 17:7-8
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.
