Hey Believers, have you ever completed a demanding project at work and beamed with pride when your manager, supervisor, or senior leaders recognized, acknowledged, and praised your exceptional work? Think back to when you finally lost those last stubborn pounds, or when you crossed off every single item on your "to-do" list in record time with no loose ends left hanging. Remember the immense pride of walking across that stage as a brand-new college graduate, diploma in hand. Remember how deeply accomplished, valued, and appreciated you felt in those moments. You patted yourself on the back, or perhaps your company nicely compensated you for your relentless diligence as well. That tangible reward—that is often the best part! In those moments, you knew you had created something unique, impressive, and memorable, and you truly deserved every ounce of that praise.
The way you felt after completing that herculean task—whether proud, valued, unique, or deeply grateful—is a reflection of the way God feels about each of us, and especially His believers. Crafted in His very likeness, He has fashioned unique and memorable characters in every single one of us. No matter what we do or say, His profound feelings of love and mercy never waver or change; He remains perpetually available to comfort, console, advise, protect, and provide for our every need.
I want to gently encourage you to offer up praise even in your darkest, most difficult hour. We have all faced unusual and exhausting challenges across every area of our lives recently. Some of us have managed to hold our heads up, pray fiercely, and trudge onward, while others may currently find themselves flailing in spirit, running short on patience, or even quietly questioning their faith. Find comfort in knowing that He deeply cares, and He will always come through. No matter the current condition of your heart, carve out a place for Him and His love. It is unconditional, encompassing, and lasts forever.
